YWAM Moscow Discipleship Training School January 29, 2012

"Men wanted for hazardous journey. Small wages, bitter cold, long months of complete darkness, constant danger, safe return doubtful. Honor and recognition in case of success." – Sir Ernest Shackleton

It is our pleasure to invite you to our YWAM Moscow Discipleship Training School (DTS) beginning on January 29, 2012.

If you were hoping to do your DTS in a tranquil rural setting, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! This school will be in the city and for the city challenging you with hands on ministry from the very first week of the school.

God has a plan for reaching each one!

Let's rebuild YWAM Saint Petersburg!

Kings Kids in Russia

King’s Kids is a relationship-based movement within YWAM, composed of Christian volunteers who share a common purpose in ministry, values and relationships. We function in partnership with families, churches and other like-minded ministries. Our purpose is to lead the children, youth, and families of Russia into a proven knowledge of God, to bring Him joy and together make Him known.

STATISTICS IN RUSSIA:

  • 3,700,000 children living on the streets and in orphanages.
  • Approximately 2 million children and teenagers under the age of 14 are abused by their parents; often leading to a death.
  • About 50 thousand children run away from home each year, resulting in 80% of orphans and runaways living a life of drugs, prostitution, or crime by the age of 18.
  • 30-40% of the country's orphan population are children from alcoholic families.
