Saturday night we had a base family event. We all got together to make and eat pizza. What a great time it was. The whole point of the evening was a get to know you time... a time of reconnecting and or making new friends. (especially in my case)

Everyone got involved with the making of the pizza whether it was making dough, grating all the cheese or helping the little kids spread sauce.
While the pizza was cooking we played a fun game called "2 Truths and a Lie". You have to say 2 true things about yourself and one lie and then everyone has to guess what the lie is. One learns so many intersting things people have done or been apart of. Some examples were of people having eaten cat or being stuck on a ferris wheel or falling in a outhouse/ toilet.
After we all enjoyed way to much pizza we had a time of sharing about dreams. Dreams of ministry and personal dreams. It was just incredible to see and to hear people talk about the things they are passionate about!! In times like we had I just get so excited about who God is and how unique He has made everyone of us.
After the dreaming was done we had apparently worked up an appetite and finished the evening off with watermelons.
I am hoping we will be gathering altogether again before to long for another family night!!!
