Bible study
A few weeks ago I have started a bible-study in a home group of the Vineyard church here in Perm. Since I completed my BCC successfully, I know now how to do teach the Bible :-). Actually i wanted to choose a short book from the New Testament, but then God led me to the Gospel of Luke, which took more than two hours to read through. The group consists mainly of new Believers, so its good to get a firm foundation. We do an inductive study; going through observation, interpretation and finally application. Last time we started color coding (for those who have gone through a School of Biblical Studies: you know what i am talking about). We didn't even make it through the first chapter, but already found so much information about who Mary was, how God is introduced and what is said about Jesus just before he was born. I totally love our group, it is so diverse! the youngest is 17 and the oldest a Babushka of about 60-70 years.
Other than that, my friend Masha and I are working on our goals and strategies for ywam Vladivostok. Today we wrote down some of the ways about how we want to reach the goals and we figured: we have enough work for at least 50 Staff!
Next week we will organize an easter program for the children at the correctional school near our base. The director is fairly open to us, as we have been doing programs for them in the past.
Orthodox easter is a week later than in the West. So happy easter to you all!!!
