Getting Ready
I was wondering what to write this time, cause life hasn’t been super exciting for the last week. I came back after teaching in a DTS in west Russia and we went straight into preparation for our Perm DTS. Preparation is the less interesting stuff in life… preparing rooms, plan schedules, write the handbook, plan for teachings, small groups, prayer and of course pray. It’s a lot actually, especially all the details. Then I also had to run to the immigration office again to hand some documents in so that I can go and collect them again in two weeks. We also had to do some emergency fund raising to build the men’s shower at the base in Perm, because right now there is only one working shower (girls) in the whole building. But guess what: God provided amazingly. Now we have pretty much all the money to get it done before school starts! In the mean time Masha and I are planning the first Vladivostok DTS! We have already set a date: September 19th 2010! Very much looking forward to that! Sometimes it’s kind of hard right now to find my place between Perm and Vladivostok. But I know I am at the right place now – staffing my first DTS and investing in others!
