Much has happened last week: We had a three day 'Mini-DTS' or a weekend of getting to know God and making Him known. About 17 people from the Perm area came - God put the most random group together. We had a good time of fellowship but much more then that - God really showed up in peoples lives! There is one moment I want to share: Saturday afternoon we went out for evangelism in pairs of two. THe task was to first pray and seek God and then go and talk to people or do a survey with them. Maksim, a twelve year old happened to be paired up with a Babushka (about 65 years old I guess). Honestly, I was a little worried about that team. When we all got back Maksim couldn't even wait for the official sharing time. His face was shining and the love and excitement for Jesus has so obvious!!! He shared that they had got three things in prayer and all three things came to pass! He saw the same thing in reality that God has shown him in the prayer time before! They were even able to pray for a man in a park. He also shared about a difficult moment, but still the joy was so much more and he overcame his fear! It is for moments like this that I do what I do!
We have just decided to have another 'Mini-DTS' in June (we are trying to come up with a more understandable name).
And now I am on my may to Switzerland. I have about 9h at the airport before I fly through Prague to Zurich. I am excited to see friends and family and be at my friends wedding!
