Back to Mother Russia
Privet again!
Just three days ago I arrived back in Perm. It has been a loooong trip, on four different planes through 13 time-zones. Here I can stay in a friends apartment who left for 6 weeks. It's a nice little one room apartment and my friend even left me a christmas tree in a plastic bag. So today I decorated my first Christmas tree by myself!
Yesterday was a crazy day: in the morning before we had our YWAM prayer time and center-cleaning, a friend told me
that they are going to driver class that night, because apparently it is illegal to drive with a non-russian drivers license for more than 6 months. People say different things though and I haven't been driving here anyway. I thought and prayed about it for a few hours (thats all the time i had) and I thought: now or never. So yesterday night I already sat in a russian drivers class. I couldn't believe it myself, what did I get my self into? Still jet-lagging I had a hard time following the old man's explanations in the cold basement room. For the next 6 weeks I will be busy learning unusual vocabulary and interesting rules. It's been ten years since I got my license (yes, I am getting older :-).
I would like to go to bed now, but I have to wait for the landlord of this place; she forgot her tea pot here (and she probably wants to see who is staying in her place now:-). And the hot water is turned off, so no shower today. But other than that, life is good:-)
