It's been a long time

Hey there!
I haven't been blogging for the last 4 months and I was thinking if i should restart again or not. Today i decided that i will commit to blogging again on ywam.ru, because actually there is a lot to tell and life is really interesting.
Easter this year i have finally moved to Vladivostok long term. No more moving around. After a few days my friend Masha and i were able to find an affordable apartment about 30min from the center. The first few days we spend with cleaning - the guy that has lived there before even lest his dirty dishes for us!
Last week i had the privilege to teach in a training school in China. It was a really good time and i believe God has used me to make Him known even more. China is an adventure every time I go there! and it's so close to the Russian border here! (well, about 13h on the bus, which I consider near).

Now we are trying to organize life as YWAM Vladivostok. We have a lot to plan: an Outreach team form Australia is coming in soon; then there is the Summer project 'Mission Bridge' coming up, and of course our first DTS in Vladivostok. At the same time we continue to work with a local street-kids center here in the city, do some house visits and start up an 'inductive' bible study. Sometimes just random stuff keeps us busy like trying to get our sink fixed: today two plumbing - guys came, after they looked at it they said: well, if we saw this thing apart we will charge you 500 rubles. So we said 'we will try ourselves', we found a small saw in a pocket knife and started to saw that thing in the middle apart in the sink, so we can buy a new one and attach that instead of the old one. Do you understand what i mean? Also we just bought a vacuum cleaner: today I found out why its nor working well: the lid doesn't close all the way, so the air doesn't get sucked through the pipe. Had to bring it back today, but I don't know if we get a new one. Things are not that easy here. Also we are trying to set up internet at our house...so far without any success. Yesterday i had to get my registration for Vladivostok - i do have residence permit in Perm, but when I am in another city I have to get registered there as well. This time we were a lot faster at doing it, only about two hours.
So sometimes you think those are just little details, but they can mess up your whole day!

But I am happy to finally be living in Vladivostok and i am looking forward to see what God is doing here in the Far East!
